Gives special help to raise awareness of the importance of foster care adoption. The need of parents continues to rise as our nation’s covid epidemic escalates to new heights and placed many children in vulnerable condition.

we share many stories, but few are as special as this one. One year old Lasha was adopted by a single mother through our family care program and raised with all of the love and care that every child deserves. Over the years, this single mother inspired all of us by working extra hard to provide nice things for Lasha, enrolling her in a good school, taking her to church, and planning special outings. A few months ago, now 10 years old, Lasha became an orphan again when COVID took her mother’s life. Marshall and Ruth, longtime team members in India, felt compelled to provide a new life for this special girl and just recently became her foster parents. Lasha is now happily settled with her new parents and two energetic brothers 🙂 Marshall has served as the coordinator for Global Family’s foster care services in India, we are delighted to see he and Ruth set this example. Now, three more families have expressed their desire to become 'fit parents' and will soon begin the training and legal process. The belief that all children deserve the love and care of family is what inspired us to establish Global Family… that belief brings us together now more than ever. Thank YOU for being a part of Lasha’s story!

WHY FOSTER CARE NEEDED?

Family is the best mode of childcare. If biological parents are not available, foster parents offer the best solution. Every child needs the loving bond of a parent and the long-term stability of a family.

Foster Families are temporary placement options for children waiting for guardianship, adoption or reunification with biological family.
